Let’s explore what this expansion brings to the game:
A sinister sorcerer as well as a brilliant master of technology, Hordak can unleash devastating attacks that hit all foes across the battlefield while simultaneously boosting his allies’ capabilities. Whether it is a magical barrage or a high-powered beam from his staff, Hordak always has the means to dispatch his adversaries!
One of the fiercest warriors in the Evil Horde, Catra brings a host of combat capabilities to the fight. Able to change Skills at a moment’s notice, Catra also commands authority from those around her, combining raw martial superiority with keen tactics to insure victory for her side.
Woe to the enemy when Mantenna’s gaze falls upon them! Not only is Mantenna a capable scout, able to manipulate enemy activations, but his antenna eyes feature a host of different ray attacks, debilitating the enemy while his allies move into position to strike.
Grizzlor is, simply put, a feral beast that thrives on destruction. While his tactics might be simple (crush them!) no one can argue that they aren’t effective. When he becomes fully enraged, Grizzlor becomes almost unstoppable, lashing out at anything and everyone around him as his rage grows.
Your power is MY power. While Leech isn’t the deadliest front-line fighter in his own right, he is capable of draining not only the life but also the Power from those around him, shifting the tides of combat in his favor. Who needs to fight fair when you can instead weaken your opponent and grow stronger in the process?
Why choose one power when you can choose THEM ALL!? As his name suggests, modularity is Modulok’s main power. He can switch up his skills through the game and all his skills boost his aspects in some fashion. Need to move faster? Have an extra leg! Need some extra attacks? Grow another arm. Need more actions in general? Get yourself another brain!
Shadow Weaver rules the fight through the potent use of dark magic, unleashing raw destruction and creating cages of pure darkness to entrap enemies.
If that wasn’t enough, Shadow Weaver also commands the forces of the Horde Wraiths, summoning these umbral minions to do her bidding and channeling her magic even further!
While Hordak controls all agents of the Evil Horde, the wicked sorceress Shadow Weaver is often given control of these ghastly Minions on the battlefield. Linking their dark magics together, these entities form a coven to boost their destructive capabilities.
Horde Troopers are exceedingly loyal robotic Minions. While programmed with many deadly combat protocols and strategies, perhaps their most devastating use is that upon critical damage they will initiate Self-Destruct, making even attacking them a risky endeavor!
